A private client commissioned a 50 inch devotional statue of Our Lady of Peace for her garden courtyard. The statue is inspired by traditional Northern New Mexican depictions of Our Lady, with a wide but shallow dress that flares out from her waist and is covered in peace lilies. Her hands are held in prayer. This piece is currently in progress; the images below capture the original sculpture in wax before it is cast in bronze.
